Every cruise ship will have someone from the staff give a lecture on the ports of call you will visit. They will cover everything from where to shop for the best prices to where not to go. They will tell about all the sights to see and offer tours at the ship tour desk for you to purchase. If you want, you can even pre-book tours before you leave home. Ask us about pre-booking tours for you.
No, and you couldn't if you tried! There is far too much for one person to do. You can pick and choose. Do as much or as little as you like.

No. On a cruise there are people from all walks of life. There will be lots of people just like you sharing the same cruise experience.
Depends on where & when you cruise. For most cruises pack light (2 bags per person) casual. Some cruises have one or two formal nights. All you need for these is a dress, pant suit, or skirt and blouse. All the men need is dress slacks, sport coat, & tie.
Most cruise lines have more than one seating time for meals (these may vary from one cruise line to another). Typical seating times are: breakfast - 6:45 & 8 a.m., lunch - Noon & 1:30 p.m., dinner 6 & 8 p.m.
Yes. Tell us what you need & it will be arranged with the cruise line. Handicapped facilities are not found on all ships. You need to ask your agent to tell you which lines are the best at handling your needs.
Yes, but in designated areas only. All ships have smoking & non-smoking areas except Carnival's newest ship that is 100% smoke free named "PARADISE".
